ONE MURDER IN REAL LIFE TWO TIMES MURDER ON SCREEN-11-11-11

In the past remake films made by two different persons there is an example, ‘Bereke Soppina’ Saaru fame Raogaru making films from various films there are standing examples and in Indian cinema industry we have examples of film making on personalities and historical data based films made on more than one occasion.

We had ‘Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna’ in 1967 and again in 2012 it is making excellent box office collection. Here is another example of ‘Shuba’ murder case made by two different persons.

Now software engineer BV Girish murder by fiancé S Shuba and two others is made by two producers in Kannada cinema. One is ‘11-11-11’ by producer Anaji Nagaraj and the other one title directly relates to the murder Shuba that is ‘Ring Road Shuba’….is with a caption Preeti Konda Kolegaati. It was on the ring road in Koramangala Shuba arranged for the murder of her fiancé Girish in 2003. After a few days of engagement the murder of Girish took place.

Interestingly the film ‘Ring Road Shuba’ is by all women film. Ranjani Ravindra Das is producer, Priya Belliappa is the director of the film, cinematography is my Maulshri Singh, Sanchari Das Mallik is editor, art director is Apoorva, Charu is makeup woman, Rekha Rani in dialogues and Bharathi Chabria is costume designer have been selected so far.

Anaji Nagaraj has roped in corporate ad film maker Santosh Kodankeri of Sullya to direct this film because he has done research on his own for two and half years. It is 40 and 60 fiction and reality in the case of Santosh. Srinagara Kitty has been chosen as the cast with Sharat Lohitashva. A judge, public prosecutor, journalist, a girl, four boys and 17 witnesses are part of ’11-11-11’ Kannada film. The murder took place in 2003 and verdict came up finally in 2011. I have no reasons to reject this role says solid actor Sharat Lohitashva who plays judge in the film. Manohar Joshi and Haseeb are behind camera, Ashle=Abhilash are music composers for one song.
